              LITERACY

                     AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY: Number of Sorors: 5  Xinos: 2  Kudos: 1  Others:
              50 Description of Activities: Zeta’s Xinos and Kudos participated with 50 students, alumni,
              faculty and staff of Villanova University in dramatic vocal readings of newspaper ads placed by
              freed slaves in the 19th century, trying to find and reconnect with family members.  The
              advisements were place by families torn apart from their families, separated from wives,
              husbands, siblings, and or children.  This event was directed by Valerie Joyce, PhD, Associate
              professor and chair, theatre, in collaboration with Judith Giesbery, PhD. Professor, History and
              director of the LAST SEEN project.


                     TECHNOLOGY/COMPUTERS:
              Number of Sorors: 6 Others: 0 Description of Activities: Zeta Chapter continues to move into
              the "digital World" with all meetings on power point  including, the agenda, correspondences
              and financial reports. We are still developing/designing our website.

                     CHILDREN, ADULT & EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, TOUCH -A-
              CHILD: Number of Sorors: 3   Others: 32
              Description of Activities:    Gideon Elementary School was selected to honor their former
              Principal, and Zeta member Marsha Wells (Omega Chapter).  Sorors engaged in interactive
              assignments with the kindergarten class.   Zeta Sorors collected and donated teddy bears to  all
              classroom members.  Three large teddy bears were donated to the class's reading center.  Zeta
              continues to nurture the homeless.

              Description of Activities: Throughout the sororal year (2019)  Zeta continued learning
              Parliamentary procedures  from Soror Anna Harris our Parliamentarian. Zeta also reviewed/
              improved / updated its own By-Laws.  Zeta  members attended the PFT Health & Welfare
              Educational Conference in March.
