Soror Graham, one of the Black History Judges was instrumental in having first grader, Juliya
Robertson receive a surprise at the Cherry Hill African American Civic Association Black
History Month Essay, Poster, and Video Contest. Juliya had the opportunity to talk with her
poster entry. Ms. Joan Meyers Brown PHILANDANCO founder/executive artistic director,
founder of Philadelphia School of Dance Arts, founder of International Conference of Blacks
Dance Companies, International Association of Blacks in Dance, and recipient of National
Medal of Arts given by (President) Barrack Obama. Soror Graham spent the day reading two
book to Kdg-3 grade students at Soror Lisa Johnson's school.

Description of the Activity: Eta Sorors continue to take the challenge of becoming more tech
savvy. Refresher training and workshops are on going for the following: Zoom the popular app
used for Regional Communication, Eventbrite, Google Folder and a tutorial on navigating the
Internet for chapter reports, and announcements on Chapter and National Website
CHILDREN, ADULT & EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, TOUCH -A-CHILD:

Description of the Activity: National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. Eta Chapter visited the
Camden County Economic Opportunity Center (CCEOC) in Camden, New Jersey and presented
the women with a Mother's Day basket, a plant, an inspirational poems. Soror Dorothea Atkins
gave a Health and Wellness presentation that included techniques to stimulate the muscle in your
body. We will continue to donate items that are needed for the women and children. The Chapter
will also continue to donate items needed at Joseph's House, located 6th and Atlantic in Camden,
New Jersey.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
TEACH-A-RAMA: Number of Sorors: 20 Xinos: 0 Kudos: 0 Others:
Description of the Activity: Sorors planned and implemented presentation of technology
resources such as; google apps, digital play chrome books, cyber security, and on going
presentation on Health and Wellness, including Mental Health Issues.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING: Number of Sorors: 23
Description of the Activity: Eta Chapter presented training for educators on google visual apps,
Danielson Evaluation, and Effective ways to collaborate with learners, families, and colleages to
enchance growth and development. Ongoing emphasis was on understanding many
technological applications offered for personal use as well as classroom and instructional
utilization. Techniques were shared and discussed on the mental health crisis and teacher
classroom management. The Chapter members continued to participate in activities that
reinforced and enhanced their understanding of the Manual of Policies and Procedure. (Officers'

PUBLIC RELATIONS: Number of Sorors:
Description of the Activity: Eta's At-A- Glance Newsletter is published bi-annually which
features Chapter activities that support Y.E.S. Program. The newsletter features Local
Scholarship recipients, Krinon Club,upcoming events, Omega members and Sisterhood
activities. The newsletter was sent to Supreme Basileus, E.R. Director, Epistoleus and Eta
Sorors. Chapter activities included but not limited to community projects were posted on Eastern
Regional Facebook , Eta Chapter Face book pages and Twitter.
