Description of the Activity: Sorors solicited students, colleagues, family and friends to join in
this endeavor to read for one hour. Parents read to children. As a day of service, some local
churches held read-ins. We thanked everyone for their assistance in helping to make this such a
rewarding initiative for NSPDK. Also, during Jumpstart's 14th annual Read for the Record Day,
the Basileus and Sorors read Thank You Omu! at different schools in Portsmouth.
