Iota: Iota Chapter Xinos and Kudos, in partnership with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Xi Tau
Zeta Chapter, hosted a scholarship workshop for Atlantic City High School students. This event
provided details for a variety of scholarships available to students, financial aid information, and
the importance of academic resumes.

Xi Xinos/ Kudos: On Sunday November 17th the Xinos along with the Kudos had their
Initiation program. This program was held at Upper Chichester Community Center in Upper
Chichester, PA. In attendance were parents, friends, Sorors, Anthropos and others who were
excited for the eight young men who were becoming Kudos. We presented a full program to
honor our newly initiated Kudos. They were showered with gifts and special presentations from
family and the Xi Chapter Advisors. The young men were very excited about their day. The
eight young men performed their routine to an audience that was filled with nothing but positive
vibes. After the program we all dined and danced the evening away with our DJ who is always
there to show our young people how to really enjoy themselves and bond through the various
line dances.

Pi: This year’s unique community service activity was led by Juila Bannon from “Ryan’s Cases
For Smiles”, an organization devoted to using whimsical pillowcases to bring a smile to the
faces of young cancer patients and to combat emotional stress. They created colorful and
creative pillowcases for the children.

Rho: Our Xinos volunteered to prepare breakfast for 40 family members, staff and friends that
have resided at the Ronald McDonald House for an extended stay while their child (under the
age of 18) are being cared for at Alfred I DuPont Children’s Hospital. The Xinos along with
help prepared eggs, pancakes, turkey/pork bacon, sausages,croissants and beverages.

Beta Lambda Xinos/ Kudos: A celebration for hosting a successful Youth Conference,
recognition of our seniors, and an Interest Meeting to recruit young ladies in 9th – 12th grade
was held in June. Gifts were presented to four (4) Xinos graduating from High School. Pledge
period from September – November, resulted in initiating five Xinos.

Beta Omicron: They hosted their annual”Ponk Party”. A tribute in crafts, dance and song for
Cancer Survivors with guest speakers, a candle-light ceremony, making cards for children with
Cancer in hospitals and enjoyed a delicious buffet.

Delta Nu Xinos/Kudos: On Sunday, October 27, 2019, the RL Network (former Delta Nu
Xinos Lindsay James and her business partner Ryan Cobb) presented an engaging
entrepreneurial workshop to the Xinos, Kudos and advisors of Delta Nu. Our youth learned that
it takes confidence, supply and demand and selflessness to become a successful business person
and to have a successful thriving business. After a brief video presentation, our Xinos and Kudos
were split into groups and charged with a task to Internet research an item that is popular and in
high demand amongst their peers. Each group had to present their findings to the larger group
that highlighted the actual price of the item they researched and what the price of that item
would be if it was bought wholesale; each group then had to explain how they plan to market this
item. Our Xinos and Kudos were very engaged and the presenters were very informative about
their items. Thank you to the RL Network for an awesome presentation and we look forward to
meeting with you again in May.
