      Jo’s a Winner!

On 8th May Jo Strange won two classes and the
in hand championship in the Cleveland Bay
classes at Royal Windsor Horse Show with her
      own mare Cholderton Ida.

This is one of the top shows in the country and
the classes were watched by HM The Queen who
also breeds Cleveland Bays for the royal news and
      ceremonial duties.

Following Ida's success a return visit on the 12th to the Royal Windsor Horse
show resulted in another win for Jo and Jakreecha in the ridden Appaloosa class.
The last class of the show!

Well done Jo and good luck for the Lincolnshire County show in June and the Royal International Horse
      show in July.

CGL Client Relationship Strategy & Business Development

Dan mentioned this documentation and our new
dashboards at the team day but here's some background
information on what's happened so far and the plan
      going forward.

In April members of the SMT and the BD Team attended
a workshop with an external consultant to develop a 1-
page CGL Client Relationship Strategy. The workshop
used a 4-step approach to improving sales performance
across CGL, including; evaluating current sales,
defining/refining sales strategy and planning, building
sales management systems and processes and finally
      developing staff competencies and confidence.

The outcome from the workshop is a comprehensive CGL Client Relationship Strategy document detailing
company-wide and regional office goals along with a set of defined metrics to analyse and report on its
success. This document will form the basis of the BD CIT actions.

You should now have copies of this document pinned to your office notice boards and it is available to view
on PIMS via a link on the landing page under Key Articles.

The BD Team, Gareth/Sam/Marina/RDs, have for some time been recording BD activity via PIMS. Dan has
designed and generated reports from this recorded activity, so the Team receive weekly reports of actions
completed and outstanding. These reports enable the user to click directly through to a project or the
action to update. Dashboards and BD reports will be rolled out to Project Managers over the next week
along with instructions on how to record BD activity, so it appears on your report.
