USE OF MECHANICAL PLANT
SUMMARY OF CONTROL MEASURES:-
● Avoid reversing as much as possible;
● Remove keys and apply hand brake when
mechanical plant not use;
● Where applicable, attach Safety harness to the
manufacturers recommended anchorage
points;
● Complete statutory work at height inspections
BEFORE using work at height equipment;
● Where applicable, extend stabilizers which must
be placed on suitable timber sleepers or mats.
