Pharmaceutical

Overview:
Vincent likes challenges and took a contract position for an
electrical contractor as Project HSE Manager on a fast-paced
pharmaceutical project in Switzerland.
The client representative was Jacobs Engineering.

Achievements

● Introduced effective monitoring systems that helped the
contractor achieve 500,000 man-hours without an Lost
Time Incident (LTI).
● Managed a team of 6 safety officers;
● Over 350 workers and supervisors within the work
package.
● Developed an excellent working relationship with the
Jacobs management team, particularly Jacobs Safety;
● Won contractor of the month, October 2020.
● Because of the safety standards the company were
achieving, Jacobs used the contractors Safety
standards as the benchmark for other contractors to
follow;
● Developed a continuous improvement programme
including performance monitoring and coaching and
competitions such as safety quizzes, spot the hazards
that significantly improved the Safety cultural on the
project.
● Introduced worker and supervisor monitoring systems
that improved Safety performance of workers from 78%
- 94% and supervisors from 90% - 96% compliance;
● Developed an interactive multilingual induction.
