Managing Safety in

Retail

Overview:
Vincent worked on a contract position for the Bank of Ireland
where he wrote the Safety Management System for their
property division. He was responsible for the management of
safety on refurbishment projects while the banks remained
open.

He also took on a project for Wilko Retail Trading to write their
draft Safety Management System for their retails stores,
distribution centre, offices and construction projects.
Achievements
● Developed robust Business Management Systems.
● Developed & implemented and effective continuous
improvement programme with the Bank of Ireland.
● Improved selection, appointment and management of
contractors.
● Formalised and simplified procedures for Wilko Retail
Trading Ltd. a company with an annual turnover of £1.5
billion.
