Storage of lifting equipment

equipment, free from damage

• Nominated person(s) to manage;

store; issue and inspect lifting

• 6 monthly test certificates and weekly

records of inspection must be available
for inspection

• Accessories must be individually

identified and tagged (and on a central
register for lifting equipment)

• All lifting equipment must be returned

to their designated storage facility
when not in use

• All chain blocks and pulley blocks must

be stored in a suspended manner
• Pre-use visual inspection of all lifting

equipment before use
