As we complete publication of this edition of our GEAR UP magazine, we are learning that the first doses of the COVID 19 vaccine are being administered throughoutTheUnitedStates.Ironically,thefirst UnitedStatesrecipientofthevaccineisSandraLindsayagraduateoftheNursingProgramhereat Lehman College in The Bronx and a nurse at Long Island Jewish Hospital in Queens. We are all hoping that this important event marks the beginning of the end of the COVID Pandemic and that, if it does, 2021 will be a much better year for all of us and our families.
