AIR ADVENTURE TRIPS  I  AGES 16+
          Through AIR Adventure Trips, participants have the opportunity to explore recreation in the community, spend time with new and old friends,
          and be provided with the guidance and support that may be necessary for success. All trips are accessible for individuals with disabilities
          to fully participate including adaptive equipment and individualized instruction. These activities are intended for individuals with physical or
          developmental disabilities. Registration three weeks in advance is required and additional paperwork and waivers may be required for the
          organizations we partner with. Unless noted, please pack a cold lunch and water bottle for all trips. Meals are not provided. Drop off/pick up
          at Carpenter Recreation Center. Personal care assistance with using the bathroom, feeding, medication administration is not provided. An
          aid is welcome to join at no extra cost to provide personal care assistance. The vehicle has limited spaces for wheelchair tie-downs. If you
          need a tie-down space, please contact Becky.Post@ThorntonCO.gov prior to registering. Details are subject to change. The most up-to-date
          information is available on the registration page and will be emailed prior to the trip. Trip fees will be posted for each individual trip on the
          registration page by August 1, 2024.

             IRONMAN CHALLENGE | 140.6 MILES OF FUN!        Allow yourself to be challenged to improve your fitness, get outside of
                                                            your comfort zone and to have fun!
             You have 15 days to complete 140.6 Miles!
             On your own, with a friend, outside or inside,
            this Challenge will take you through a complete   TRI & SURVIVE  |  IronMan Challenge Clinics
                    IronMan Distance Triathlon.             Four 30-minute classroom clinics will be offered at Trail Winds
                                                            Recreation Center on each of the Triathlon Disciplines. Attend one or
