                                                Abstract



                    The procedure in the labour court of Thailand is prescribed in the Act on

            Establishment of Labour Courts and Labour Court Procedure B.E. 2522 (1979).  It has
            been used for more than 40 years and has been developed, through the interpretation
            of the court, into a separated body of law departing from its predecessor – the Civil

            Procedure Code. This Article is then trying to study and examine some legal problems
            regarding the interpretation of the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal for Specialized

            Cases concerning the application of the Act in certain areas.
                    Article 29 of the Act permits the labour court to adopt its own rules to govern

            the proceedings in the court; and article 31 allows the provisions of the Civil Procedure
