         everyone.  Public money should  go to things that have the most societal  benefits. Art is  nice, but it is only
         useful to a few people. Public money should  be  니sed on  much  more important things than  art

       M:  1 think cities should spend money on  art.  Art is  a great way for  people to  be proud of their city and  it can
         enrich  people’s lives.  My city has a grand art museum and temporary outdoor art shows and  sculptures
         that help tourism.  So, art can  even help make money for cities!  1 think cities should  spend public money
         on  things that make people’s lives more enjoyable and that help the  city.  Art is a great way to  do both

       W: The  US armed forces are seen  as the  most powerful  military in  the world.  They  are over 200 years old. T。

         Wars 1 and  1 1.  They have been active ever since. They have taken  part in conflicts overseas and back in the
         US. The  head of the  US  armed  forces  is  the  US  president.  He  has the  final say  in  what the  military does

         larger again. They played a large part in helping the Allied forces win World Wars 1 and 11.  Today, the US
         armed forces have around  1.5 million  members. The  US spends more money on  its military than the rest
