This meeting is about our new product.

Senior Manager: Good morning. Today’s meeting would be about our latest product, Nokia

E71. We would be discussing its features, technical specifications as well as its market price.
The product manager would be assisting me with the details.
Product Manager: Yes, I would be the one to explain the details about other product features
such as accessories and our proposed market price.
Senior Manager: Let me begin with the physical features, power and memory of the latest
phone. It has single block with full keyboard and a 4.49 x 2.24 x 0.39 inch dimension. It
weighs only 4.47 oz. The size of the display is 2.36 inches and its resolution measures to 320
x 240 pixels (QVGA). It is quite interesting, since it has up to 16 million colors in it. Another
distinct character is its TFT active matrix (QVGA) with two customizable home screen modes,
which is user friendly.
Staff: How about its security features, Sir?
Senior Manager: Like any other cell phone, Nokia E71 has a device lock, remote lock, data en-
cryption for both phone memory and microSD content, and more importantly, a mobile VPN.
Product Manager: Just like any other Nokia mobile phone, Nokia E71 has a Bluetooth and you
can choose from three of its accessories.1) Bluetooth Headset BH 902 which has a powerful
combination of pioneering call management and superior sound technology. This wireless
headset is a true winner. 2) Bluetooth 602, on the other hand gives our customers up to 5
hours talking time with just 15 minutes charging.
Senior Manager: Well said, but I have to adjourn this meeting earlier. I just received an emer-
gency call from the Director. He informed me that the Board of Directors is in for a surprise
visit today so we had better get ready now. We will resume with this meeting tomorrow. You
may all leave for now.
Product Manager: I agree; we had better prepare for this visit.

Honestly, I pay attention during a meeting because I do not want to miss anything from it. I
know that I could benefit more if I participate well and clarify things that do not seem to be
clear to me. Although, I sometimes feel exhausted, I see to it that I still pay attention to the flow
of the discussion of the meeting.
