I felt that when I was younger and new in service. I usually put a coin under my shoe and have
the tail lie at the bottom of my shoe. I believe that the image from the coin would take away my
nervousness; surprisingly, it was effective. I was able to maintain composure while attending
the meeting.

I value first time encounters with the staff. My career life will not only be based on my perfor-
mance, but also on my relationships with people, I work with. I believe in teamwork and unity.
I see to it that I’m always at my best during my first encounter with the staff.

3. If you happen to experience a problem with the staff during your first meet-
ing with them, what would you do?

Sample answer:
I would try to be objective and unaffected in dealing with them. I will do better the next time
they see me and prove them that I am worthy to be a part of the team. I would not allow trials
to put me down and stop me from reaching my goals in life and career.

1. You are working as a Managing Editor in Elle Magazine. It is your first day
at work, and before you start you day, the Editor-in-chief would like you to
meet the staff and introduce yourself to them.

Editor. I have been working with Elle for 11 years now, and it would be an honor to continue my

2. You migrated to Spain, and you went out to look for a job in the city. You
were so lucky to be hired as a Senior Graphic Artist in Sony Spain. You had a
hearty welcome during a staff meeting.

Spain from the Philippines. I have worked as a Senior Graphic Consultant in Sony Philippines

Senior Graphic Artist. I am a very reliable and congenial person, so feel free to ask me any ques-
