Dee from Nokia Seoul.

Senior Manager: May I have everyone’s attention? I would like you to meet Mr. Archie Dee from
Nokia Seoul, our new Product Manager of Services and Software.
Product Manager: Good morning, I am so pleased to meet all of you.
Staff: It is nice to have you here, Sir.
Product Manager: I am more delighted to be here and to be a part of your team.
Senior Manager: As Product Manager, Mr. Dee will be responsible for product, feature, appli-
cation planning and/or specification over its life cycle.
Staff: Sir, would it be fine if we ask you how long have you worked with Nokia, Seoul?
Product Manager: I have worked there for 10 years, and my last position was R&D Line Man-
ager 1, in the Services and Software Department.
Senior Manager: Mr. Dee’s main responsibility is to ensure product competitiveness. That
includes product offer uniqueness, innovativeness. He would also take charge of measuring
product performance in benchmarks compared to target.
Product Manager: I hope for you full support in our projects. Consider me as your friend aside
from being your boss. I would need your help to show me around the place.
Staff: Do not worry sir. We are all very much willing to assist you. Our team is the best group
here in Nokia Bristol.
Product Manager: Thank you; I am so happy to hear that from you.
Senior Manager: In addition to what I have mentioned, the product manager has to be respon-
sible for handling direct and indirect customer needs and their expectations. We also oblige
him to share his expertise and best practice within his competence area. I request all of you
to support and respect him.
Staff: Expect our full cooperation.
Senior Manager: Ok, if you do not have any further questions, this meeting is adjourned.
Staff: Let us all welcome Mr. Dee, our new Product Manager with a round of applause.
Product Manager: Thanks everyone!
