Miss Kathie: Good morning, we want to have a resort reservation. Can you help us?
Concierge: Of course, Ma’am, we have a brochure here, would you like to go over it? You can
choose from our room accommodations. We also offer Spa. All the rates are there, Madam.
Miss Kathie: I think I want to stay in the Executive room. What do you think, Bernadette?
Miss Bernadette: Let me see the brochure. I think I like that too. It is more spacious, and it
has more places for comfort and relaxation. It is just a few steps to the beachfront swimming
pool.
Miss Kathie: It is perfect for us since it has a luxurious king sized bed that is good for the two of
us. It has one living room, a private bathroom with hot shower, a private balcony, air-con, re-
frigerator, local and satellite T.V. Pay per view DVD movies, phone for local and international
direct dialing and Wi-Fi internet access with computer set. Well, I guess this will be a perfect
vacation for us.
Miss Bernadette: It should be, since we will pay 5,500 THB. If we convert it in U.S. Dollar, it is
$161.36 per night stay. Would you believe that?
Miss Kathie: There is no problem with that. Bernadette, are we here for a vacation or not? Here
is our deposit. Can we get the room number and keys? I almost forgot to ask about the Spa.
Concierge: You are room number is 26 and here is your key, Ma’am. About the Spa, we person-
ally treat each guest according to his or her natural characteristics or Birth Signs. Their birth
date will stand from the four segments of nature: Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire. Why do we
have to know your nature/birth sign? The variety of incense sticks and essential oils that are
specially prepared will adjust the room temperature according to the best-suited temperature
for both physical and mental relaxation but this will depend on your Nature/Birth Sign, for
effective healing.
Miss Kathie: Oh, is that so? I want to try that. Do you have other beauty, health and Spa services
like foot massage, reflexology and Traditional Thai massage and energy treatment?
Miss Bernadette: We’re also here for a, Yoga, Reiki, Chi Kung and Tai Chi; Skin care, face care
and nail care; Jacuzzi, herbal bath and spring baths; body scrubs, body wraps and facial
masks and of course head and facial massage. Do you have those because we’re aiming to
have those?
Concierge: Origin Spa has everything that you are looking for. You can contact or visit them.
Miss Kathie: Yes, I will contact them. I want to relax.
Miss Bernadette: Let us go to our room, relax and take a shower before we go to Origin Spa.
