               The contract cancellations




               Park: Please understand that we are doing our best for you and we plan to continue doing so.
               Come: I hope so. We appreciate your doing your best.

               Park: I understand that your suppliers for the equipment are mostly small and medium-sized
                  electric appliance manufacturers. Am I right?

               Come: Yes, that’s right and they’re all counting on lower labor costs, reduced production time, and
                  much better safety measures with the installation of these robots. Now regarding this delivery
                  delay, reports say that I already have some contract cancellations and claim matters as well.
               Park: Oh, that sounds bad, but I still have to visit your office today. Perhaps we can work some-
                  thing out to prevent any more cancellations of contracts.









               1.  Have you ever had any contract cancellation with a client? Why?

                  Sample answer:
                  That has never happened yet because we do our best to close the deal and finish with a trans-
                  action through and through.

               2.  What  is  your  company  standard  operating  procedure  regarding  contract
                  cancellation?

                  Sample answer:
                  Of course, the higher ups will demand that we write a report on the cancellation. The report
                  will explain why the client opted to cancel the transaction. Nevertheless, we have to try pre-
                  serving good business relations with our business partner.

               3.  Are you still able to maintain business relations even after a contract cancel-
                  lation?

                  Sample answer:
                  Since we have never had any contract cancellation, I cannot tell. Still, we have a standard policy
                  that we have to treat our clients well all the time to encourage future business relations.
