You have to consider the whole picture of the story. In some instances, people make
decisions haphazardly, considering only how that particular decision may affect them,
not realizing that other people are affected. It is best to know the details before decid-
                  ing or taking any positions.

               3. Are you comfortable being caught in urgent situations?

                  Sample answer:
No, but as a mature individual, taking positions or deciding at once due to an urgent
situation is inevitable. I just have to be ready in picking the position to take. Making a
calculated choice or risk is not an assurance that I have made the right decision.

               1. You enjoy watching and betting on races. You were to place bet on one play-
er, how would you pick the racer to bet on?

                  Sample answer:
I’ll check on details of the players and weigh their strengths and weaknesses. The rac-
er’s strength is one of the main factors to be considered. I’ll also check on the racer’s
previous rankings. This will give me an idea of the racer’s average performance. After
considering these factors, I will pick the racer that’s most likely to win. The efforts made
to look at the bigger picture, in terms of the racer’s performance, gives me a greater
chance of winning compared to just picking a racer to bet on.

               2. You were a referee of a certain match. Apparently, the player committed a
violation, but you didn’t see it. The viewers are the only ones who noticed it.
                  How would you decide?

                  Sample answer:
I would base my decision on what I saw. As the deciding party, I should take control
of the situation. It’s my job and I should know the standards. I would consider the fact
that many viewers saw the violation, however, since I was not able to see it for myself,
I could not in clear conscience base my decision on what other people say. Taking a
stand in this case is crucial. Looking at the bigger picture, fans of the opposing side
would insist that a violation has been made, whereas fans of the other side would in-
sist that the decision I made in declaring that the player committed no violation was
correct. Therefore, I would base my decision on what I saw, since I cannot rightfully say
that the player did commit an offence.
