DMTC Places Students in WBL Opportunities
Broome High School senior Jacob Price is a Mechatronics
Manufacturing co-op student at SEW EURODRIVE. Jacob
is a completer of our Machine Tool Technology Program
and will be a DMTC double completer when he finishes
Mechatronics Technology this spring. He is pictured on
the job at SEW EURODRIVE operating a forklift to
transport gears to the oven area in the manufacturing
building.
Electricity III student Maximino Martinez Flores recently be-
gan a work-based learning co-op with Powell's Electrical Con-
tractors in Inman, SC. He will be installing wiring and conduit
in commercial and industrial locations in the Spartanburg and
surrounding areas. Maximino is a senior at Broome High
School and will be a completer in the Electricity program
when he graduates this spring.
Two of our students are currently participating in work-based learning at IVI.
Broome High School senior Anthony Armstrong will be a Welding Completer and
an Electricity Concentrator when he graduates this
spring. He is pictured programming a CNC plasma
table to cut out metal for industrial duct
