(c). Inspect and adjust the clutch components.
• Inspect the spring top height of the platen
membrane with a clearance gauge and
special tools. Adjust it if it is beyond the
limit value.

membrane (compressed state):

1051 series 56 mm 56 ± 1.5 mm
1061 series 61.5 mm 61.5 ± 1.5 mm
1089 series 70 mm 70 ± 1.5 mm

• If the spring top height of the clutch platen
membrane is beyond the limit value of the
operation, adjust the height with special
tools to make it in the standard scope as
shown in the illustration.

Lithium lubricating grease
12. Assemble the clutch release fork
(a). Apply lubricating grease on the clutch
release fork as shown in the illustration.

(b). Install the clutch release fork on the axle
of the clutch release fork and screw down
the fixing bolt.

Torque: 40 ± 5 N•m
