6. Take out the clutch driven plate assembly
Notice:
Keep the inside of the driven plate, platen and the flywheel surface away from the oil stain and
impact.
7. Overhaul of clutch driven plate
(a). Inspect the contact surface of the driven plate, replace it with a new one if it has distinct cracks,
oil stains or the damper spring is distorted.
(b). Measure the depth from the surface of the
driven plate to the rivet head with slide
calipers as shown in the illustration, if the
depth is beyond the limit value, replace it
with a new one.
Limit value of depth:

1051 series 1.3 mm
1061 series 1.4 mm
1089 series 1.6 mm
(c). Inspect the radial run-out of the working
surface of the driven plate. As shown in 32
the illustration, if the run-out is beyond the
limit value, replace the driven plate with a
new one.
