9. connect the oil inlet pipe of clutch
slave cylinder booster
(a). Connect the oil inlet pipe of the clutch
slave cylinder and screw down the
terminal bolt of the oil inlet pipe.
Torque: standard value: 32 n•m
Limit valued: 30 ~ 34 n•m
10. connect the air inlet pipe of clutch
slave cylinder booster
(a). Connect the air inlet pipe of the clutch
slave cylinder and screw down the
terminal nut of the air inlet pipe.
Torque: 21 ~ 25 n•m
11. fill with clutch fluid and remove the air in the system (refer to “chapter 32
clutch-clutch fluid, air exhaust”)
12. adjust the clutch slave cylinder booster
(a). Inspect and adjust the length of the clutch slave cylinder booster push rod and ensure certain
clearance of the axle pin of the release fork.
32 (b). Inspect and adjust the working stroke of the clutch slave cylinder booster push rod.
Working stroke of the clutch slave cylinder booster:

1089 series 15 mm 17.3 mm
13. Tightness test of clutch system
(a). Open the air exhaust of the clutch slave cylinder booster when the air pressure is over 0.4 mpa and
inspect whether the compressed air leaks. Inspect carefully and clear the faults if there is air
leakage.
14. Oil tightness test of clutch system
(b). Inspect whether oil leaks from each pipe fitting while pressing on the clutch pedal, fasten the
pedal at some position and inspect whether the push rod of the clutch rooster has much
movement.
15. Operability test of clutch system
(a). Press down the clutch pedal repeatedly and inspect whether the movement of the push rod of
the clutch slave cylinder rooster is normal by listening to the noise of the compressed air in
