Diagnostic Procedure
1. Checking fuse
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Check fuse F22 (10A) in body fuse
block.

Check if the fuse is OK.
Yes > Go to step 2.
No > Replace fuse.
2. Checking compressor belt
(a) Check compressor belt and its tension.
Are check results normal?
Yes > Go to step 3.
No > Replace belt or adjust its tension.
3. Checking electromagnetic clutch
(a) Connect compressor positive (+) with battery positive (+) and its negative (-) with body
ground.
(b) Check if the electromagnetic clutch picks up.
Is check result normal?
Yes > Go to step 4.
No > Replace compressor assembly.
