4. Checking A/C cut-off relay

(a) Check A/C cut-off relay R35.
Standard values:
Use a multimeter to Specified
Condition
connect pins value
Normal 1 - 2 Continuity

Apply supply voltage
between pins 1 and 2. 3 - 5 Continuity

Are check results normal?
Yes > Go to step 5.
No > Replace A/C cut-off relay.
5. Checking A/C switch
(a) Remove A/C switch (refer to “Chapter 73 Instrument Panel/Combination Meter/Cigarette
Lighter-Instrument Panel, Replacement").

(b) Check A/C switch.
Standard values:
Use a multimeter to Specified
Condition
connect pins value
OFF 4 - 6 > 1 MΩ

ON 4 - 6 ≤ 2 Ω

Are check results normal?
Yes > Go to step 6.
No > Replace A/C switch.
