Diagnostic Procedure

1. Checking fuse

(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Check fuse F16 (25A) in body fuse
block.

Check if the fuse is OK.
Yes > Go to step 2.
No > Replace fuse.

2. Checking heater relay

(a) Check heater relay R13.
Standard values:
Use a multimeter to Specified
Condition
connect pins value
Normal 85 - 86 Continuity
Apply supply voltage
between pins 85 and 30 - 87 Continuity
86.

Are check results normal?
Yes > Go to step 3.
No > Replace heater relay.
