4. Checking governor resistor

(a) Disconnect governor resistor plugs.

(b) Check governor resistor.
Standard values:
Use a multimeter Specified
Condition
to connect pins value
1 - 2
Normal 1 - 3 Continuity
1 - 4

Are check results normal?
Yes > Go to step 5.
No > Replace governor resistor.
5. Checking harness
(a) Use a multimeter to measure resistance of the harness between pin 87 of heater relay R13
and pin 1 of blower.
Resistance: ≤2Ω
(b) Use a multimeter to measure resistance to ground of pin 1 of blower.
Resistance: >1MΩ
Are check results normal?
Yes > Replace blower.
No > Replace harness.
