Fuel indicator light is always lighted up/does not come on

Diagnostic Procedure
• Confirm there is sufficient fuel in fuel tank (greater than 1/4 fuel level) when ignition switch
is in ON position.
• When fuel level in fuel tank is below 345mm (i.e. less than 7~10L) or fuel sensor resistance
is greater than 89Ω, this indicator light should come on.
• When fuel level in fuel tank is above 345mm (i.e. greater than 7~10L) or fuel sensor
resistance is less than 89Ω, this indicator light should go out.
Tip:
Fuel indicator light will come on occasionally when your vehicle is making a sharp turn. This is
normal.
Check whether fuel indicator light is always lighted up or does not come on.
Yes > (Always lighted up) go to step 1.
No > (Does not come on) go to step 3.
