Diagnostic Procedure
• Start the engine.
• Move exhaust brake switch back and forth.
Check whether exhaust brake indicator light is always lighted up or does not come on.
Yes > (Always lighted up) go to step 1.
No > (Does not come on) go to step 4.
1. Checking for exhaust brake indicator light signal circuit short
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect connector of combination
switch B029.
(c) Ignition switch: ON.
