Diagnostic Procedure
• Confirm if air cleaner is too dirty. If so, replace with a new one.
• Check intake system for excessive intake resistance. If so, clear this trouble first. (Refer to
Service Manual for Cummins ISF Series Engines-Intake System.)
• Start the engine.
Check whether air cleaner indicator light is always lighted up or does not come on.
Yes > (Always lighted up) go to step 1.
No > (Does not come on) go to step 3.

(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
