Fuel-Fuel tank

13. Connecting front fuel delivery pipe
(a) Connect front fuel delivery pipe of fuel
tank, and tighten front fuel delivery pipe
joint nut.
Torque: 21~25 N•m
(b) After the connection is completed,
lightly pull junction of fuel pipe and fuel
sensor outlet to check for firm
connection.

14. Connecting fuel sensor
(a) Connect connector of fuel sensor. 11
(b) Secure the harness to frame and prevent
it from interference with any moving
part.

15. Bleeding fuel system
(a) Bleed the fuel system by pressing the
manual pump handle on the fuel filter
several times.

16. Connecting battery negative cable
17. Inspection
After making sure all connectors have been connected properly, turn on ignition switch to check
fuel gauge on the meter for normal display and start the engine and check fuel pipe joints of the fuel
system for oil ooze and leak.
18. Installing cargo body guardrails (refer to “Chapter 77 Interior/Exterior Trims-Cargo
Body Guardrail, Replacement”)
