Exhaust-Exhaust pipe
Replacement
1. Disconnecting battery negative cable
Caution:
The exhaust pipe is hot, so you should not operate on it until it has completely cooled down.
2. Disconnecting exhaust brake valve
(a) Disconnect harness connector of exhaust brake valve.

3. Disconnecting exhaust temperature sensor (refer to Service Manual for Cummins ISF
Series Engines)
4. Disconnecting nitrogen oxide sensor (refer to Service Manual for Cummins ISF Series
Engines)
5. Removing secondary muffler assembly (optional)
(a) Loosen the 2 bolts and nuts connecting secondary muffler with exhaust muffler assembly.
