Front axle-steering linkage
(c) Connect drag link with steering arm.
• Right steering wheel.
• Move front wheels at both sides by hand to
set them straight ahead.
• Loosen fastening bolt of drag link front
end assembly, and turn front end assembly
until its tapered shaft and mounting hole of
steering arm are concentric.
Tip:

Number of turns of drag link front end assembly must
be a natural number (e.g. 1, 2, 3……).
• Using hammer and copper bar, knock on
drag link front end assembly axially to
install it onto steering arm from inside.
• Tighten hexagon slotted nut, and insert
split pin.
Torques:
Vehicle model Torque
1051 series 180~220 N•m
1061 series 220~260 N•m
1089 series 220~260 N•m
Notice:
Be sure to replace with a new split pin.
Tip:
After tightening, return approx. 30° to align split pin
hole with left steering knuckle nut notch.
