                                                     Front axle-steering linkage


                                                          (c)   Install tie rod right end assembly.
                                                          Notice:
                                                          Be sure to install according to the number of turns
                                                          recorded. Make sure number of turns of tie rod

                                                          right end assembly equals that of left end assembly.
                                                          Tip:
                                                          Follow the same installation steps for tie rod left end
                                                          assembly to install tie rod right end assembly.

                                                          Torques:
                                                                  Vehicle model                Torque

                                                                   1051 series                40~50 N•m

                                                                   1061 series                40~50 N•m

                                                                   1089 series                70~90 N•m

               9.      Installing left steering trapezium arm
               (a)     Check left steering trapezium arm for deformation, bending, cracks, and other damages.      24
                       If any of above defects is found, replace with a new left steering trapezium arm.
                                                          (b)    Connect left steering trapezium arm with left

                                                                 steering knuckle.
                                                                 1051 series and 1061 series models:
                                                                 •    Using hammer and copper bar, knock on
                                                                      left steering trapezium arm to install it
                                                                      onto left steering knuckle from inside.
                                                                 •    Tighten the 2 hexagon slotted nuts, and
                                                                      insert the 2 split pins.
                                                                      Torque: 230~280 N•m
                                                          Notice:
                                                          Be sure to replace with new split pins.
                                                          Tip:
                                                          After tightening, return approx. 30° to align split pin
                                                          hole with left steering knuckle nut notch.
                                                                 1089 series models:
                                                                 •    Using hammer and copper bar, knock on
                                                                      left steering trapezium arm axially to
                                                                      install it onto left steering knuckle from
                                                                      behind.
                                                                 •    Tighten the nut and curl to lock.
                                                                 Torque: 230~280 N•m
                                                          Notice:
                                                          Be sure to replace with a new nut.
