Rear axle- Driving gear assembly

(h). Install the inner ring of the outer bearing of
driving gear (4).

(i). Install the flange.
(j). Install the flange gasket.

(k). Screw down the flange nut and insert the cotter
pin.
Torque:
Vehicle type Torque

1051 series 250 ～ 280 N•m

1061 series 323 ～ 408 N•m

1089 series 350 ～ 450 N•m

(l). Inspect the pre-stressing force of driving gear
bearing. (Refer to “chapter 25 rear axle –driving
gear assembly, inspection”)
(m). Make matchmarks on the ends of flange nut and

driving gear.
(n). Pull out the cotter pin and loosen the flange nut.
