9. Overhaul of retracing spring
(a). Inspect the retracting spring for any cracks or
deformation (especially the hooks on both ends).
Replace it if necessary.

(b). Inspect the length of the 2 retracing springs of brake
shoe, the parameters of the two springs shall be the
same at the same condition, the free length of the
retracing springs is 76.5 mm.

10. Install the backing plate
(a). Install the backing plate and tighten the 4 fixing
bolts.
Torque: 130 ～ 160 N•m

(b). Install the brake cam and tighten the fixing nut of
brake arm.

(c). Install the retracing spring of hand brake arm.
