Parking brake-center brake

Overhaul

1. Disconnect the hand brake cable
(a). Remove the lock nut of hand brake cable.

(b). Remove the 2 fixing bolts of hand brake cable.
(c). Separate the hand brake cable.

2. Remove the transmission axle (refer to “chapter 33 transmission axle- transmission axle assembly,
replacement”)
3. Remove the central braking drum assembly
(a). Take down the central braking drum assembly.

4. Remove the secondary-axle flange
(a). Loosen the secondary-axle flange nut.
(b). Take down the secondary-axle flange.
