Transmission 6g 120- Secondary axle assembly
(d). Remove the fourth-shifting gear needle bearing from
the secondary axle.
8. Remove the fourth-shifting synchronizer ring
(a). remove the fourth-shifting synchronizer ring.

Label for the fourth-shifting synchronizer ring after
removal.
(b). Inspect the synchronizer ring (refer to “chapter 31 b
transmission 6g 120-secondary-axle assembly,
overhaul”)
9. Remove the third-shifting and fourth-shifting
synchronizers from the secondary axle
