Transmission 6g 120- Secondary axle assembly

4. disassemble the fifth-shifting and sixth-shifting
synchronizer springs, keys and synchronizer gear
ring and gear seat
(a). Inspect the synchronizer gear ring and gear stand.
(refer to “chapter 31 b transmission 6g
120-secondary-axle assembly, overhaul”)

5. remove the sixth-shifting synchronizer ring
(a). Remove the sixth-shifting synchronizer ring.
Hint:
Label for the sixth-shifting synchronizer ring after
removal.

(b). Inspect the synchronizer ring. (refer to “chapter 31 b
transmission 6g 120-secondary-axle assembly,
overhaul”)

6. remove the sixth-shifting gear
(a). Remove the sixth-shifting gear and needle bearing
from the secondary axle.
