3 Put the pair of loops into the karabiner.
4 The rope on the left is taking the load, the
right rope is the brake.
5 By relaxing all strain on the left rope and
pulling the right rope the hitch can be
reversed to act in the reverse manner—
the left rope now being the brake and the
right rope taking the load.
