Turning Around the City Space and Creating
a New & Smart City
Shuinan
Shuinan Central Park is located in the Shuinan Economic and
Central Park Trade Park. In the past, the base used to be Taichung Shuinan
Airport, but the airport land use restricted its development. To
Taichung City improve the land use efficiency, the Shuinan Economic and Trade
Park with a total area of 67.34 hectares was planned through land
use conversion, building relocation, etc., together with the “smart,
low-carbon and innovative principle. Besides the completed
Central Park as the hub, other facilities in the Shuinan Economic
and Trade Park including International Expo Center, Taichung
Green Museum & Library and Taichung Intelligence Operations
Center are expected to be completed in 2022 to become another
important core development area in Taichung City.
