VISIT TAMPA BAY NATIONAL TOURISM LUNCHEON HONORS LOCAL PERSONS
Visit Tampa Bay held its National Tourism Luncheon on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. The event was held at the Glazer Jewish Community Center. Among those honored were: Carla Williams, Community Relations Execu- tive with Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART), who received an award for assisting Visit Tampa Bay with bringing the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) to Tampa in July 2019 with 3,000 attendees. Also, former Florida State Senator Arthenia Joyner received an award for Tampa hosting the Na- tional Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women Conference (NOBEL).
