- MENTAL HEALTH -
Anxiety, substance misuse and depression are
all as common as dementia in older adults. In
Canada, 1.8M people 60+ years of age are living
with a mental illness or mental health problem.
Especially during this period of high anxiety and
stress of the pandemic, it is more important
than ever to maintain mental well-being.
But how do we do this?
Here are some guidelines:
Disconnect from screens, telephones.
Relax (meditation, bath, art, physical
activities, essential oils).
Interact with your loved ones.
Expose yourself to daylight.
