Shuffle Step



         Sample Activities



           Shuffle forward, back, lateral at a fast tempo

              Can use hand signal from the coach or go to a cone on the floor
              Toss ball four directions, catch at midline with arms extended

              Toss or serve the ball in four directions and execute a forearm pass

              Toss a ball have players shuffle to the ball and execute an overhead set
           Execute a lunge step to catch a ball, proceed to forearm pass














                                                   Checklist


                          Athlete  maintains  a  medium  posture,  with
                            shoulders  forward  and  center  of  gravity  over

                            both feet

                          Arms  are  relaxed,  bent  comfortably  at  the
                            elbows

                          The  athlete  will  shuffle  to  the  ball,  come  to  a
                            balanced stop and execute the pass or set

                          Keep the head level while moving to the ball
