THE APPRENTICESHIP TEAM
When you commence your qualification with TLC you are assigned a team of professional, qualified trainers and
administrators to support your achievement. Your first point of contact will be your trainer who will contact you to
introduce themselves and arrange your induction, programme launch and sign up to the programme. To support your
training, development and progression throughout the programme you will also be assigned an Internal Quality Assurer
(IQA). The role of the IQA is to ensure you are:
• Engaged with your trainer.
• Progressing in line with your KPI’s.
• Receiving the service and support you need from TLC.
• Developing your skills in line with your expectations.
• Confident and competent ahead of End Point Assessment.
For Quality Assurance purposes following access to Gateway you will be assigned to an Independent End Point
Assessor (IEPA). The IEPA is not employed by TLC and acts as a representative for the relevant End Point Assessment
Organisation who will instruct certification following successful EPA. The role of the IEPA is to:
• Quality Assure the delivery and Assessment of the qualification. (Although you may not see your IQA and IEPA as
often as your trainer, you will be issued with their contact details so you can communicate with them as required.)
