Appendix C.2: Passports: Supervising

Agent Postage Reconciliation Subprocess

At the end of the day, the Passports supervisor runs a passport report which lists all the

passport applications that were cashiered in the BIS system (P13). The supervisor compares the

number of applications cashiered to the number of applications listed on the transmittals (P14).

If there is any discrepancy, the supervisor investigates and fixes the issue. To reconcile postage,

the supervisor enters each package tracking number into a postage reconciliation spreadsheet

(P15). The balance should match the postage balance listed on the XPS Ship account. If it does
