Lion Benicio McKenzie Townsend and Lion Treasurer Gloria Garraway presented St.
Mary Magdalene Roman Catholic Church with a monetary
donation of $300.00. This was a gesture of appreciation to
the parish for the use of the facility and for being a beacon of hope, providing outreach and assistance to the homebound during
the COVID-19 Pandemic. (see photo).
Currently, members are busy gathering items to donate Thanksgiving Day baskets to disadvantaged families in St.
Mary Magdalene RC Church, St. John Baptist Church of Inwood, Christ the King Roman Catholic Church and Helen Keller
Services for the Blind.
