HOLLIS LIONS honor Lion Dorothy Barnett (Charter Member)
On Saturday August 14th, 2021, the Hollis Lions
Club recognized our beloved charter member, Lion
Dorothy Barnett. Due to physical challenges, Lion
Barnett was unable to get to the outdoor picnic
independently. So, two members learned how to
operate her specialized van and brought her to the
celebration.
Other members donated prepared food and drinks.
We played games with some of our Leos, and
enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship. It was a heart-
warming experience to express our gratitude and
acknowledge the years of selfless humanitarian
service of one of our fellow Lions. This event also Hollis Lions and Leos are proud to honor Lion Dorothy
served as an opportunity to show our Leos the Barnett
meaning of fellowship and “service from the heart”.
