AROUND DISTRICT 20-K1

We are proud to announce that our club has adopted the clients
at the Comfort Inn Men’s Shelter, located on Utica Avenue in
Brooklyn. To date, we have donated 65 winter coats, 25 pairs of
shoes and warm socks, 40 under shirts with briefs, 10 men’s
suits, shirts and pants.

We teamed with our sponsor, Clinton Hill lions Club who
donated specialized construction tools to support the working
men. This partnership will be ongoing as we ”team together and Happy turkey recipient
grow through service”.

As we prepared to celebrate Thanksgiving, we donated eight(8)
turkeys to families in the community. (see photos) On the way, a
passing motorist stopped and asked, “Can I have one of those?”
Without hesitation, I replied, “Sure!” Her expressions of
gratitude were very overwhelming as she thanked us for our

generosity.
