Problem Statement
In this globalization era, every single individual is required to keep up
with the development of communication and information technology.
Innovation has been one of our working cultures since consumers are
growing rapidly. John’s Real Estate is one of the companies that is inevitably
dealing with the process of globalization.
As you are aware, your company is facing the challenge of globalization,
one of which is the enactment of MEA (Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN/ASEAN
Economic Community). This enactment has led to a situation where the
employment exchange competition is getting more intense. Moreover,
Multinational Corporation (MNC) also requires the human resources to be
more skillful and communicative in order to be able to face the international
challenge. Therefore, having effective and adequate English communication
skill is one of the most important factors in this open market era.
After we did analysis based on the condition of the staff in John’s Real
Estate, there have been found many shortages of the way the staff are
communicating in English. Several persons, including those who are in
